Silver Falls National Park

Our Second trip to Oregon happened in August of 2009. What a trip it was. This trip started off unbelievable. We stayed at a bread and breakfast our first night and headed to the falls the following day!!! We visited Silver Falls National Park and what a breath taking view. From the trail walk to the rushing of the water this was a site to see. This adventure is perfect for a family with young children we took our one and half year old and he had a blast we know he won't remember it but we do and the picture we got was one of a kind. Silver Falls National Park trail takes you along silver creek that which contains 10 waterfalls ranging from a 27 feet fall to a 177 feet fall.

The Great State of Oregon

In the Fall of 2008 I headed out West for the very first time. Being from a small town in Florida this trip was going to be a big one. This was going to be my first airplane trip and the first time I seen mountains and snow.
We started our trip on Thanksgiving day flying out of Orlando (MCO) which is an awesome airport. We flew into Portland Airport (PDX) that night, of course it was raining. We got our rental car and headed to Eugene, Oregon (home of the Duck!!).
While in Oregon we visited the Pacific Ocean and drove the coast line to California. What a difference of states between the gas prices and having to pump your own gas!!! The next couple of days we visited Bend, Sisters, and Willamette. These places were the most beautiful places I had ever visited in my life. White covered mountains, white covered Christmas trees it was awesome.

The road trip through the Willamette National Forest was unforgettable if you ever get the chance to take OR-126 and the Pacific coast line!!!
